MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif. - Marines unload, show and clear their weapons after a simulated training scenario of clearing a house of insurgents at the Stu Segal Production Studio facilities in San Diego. Marines from 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, set up a stack in order to move further down the hall towards role-playing insurgent fighters at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii. Three waves of platoons swept through the building containing the three role playing Marines during the exercise. Santa Rita, Guam (Apr. 8, 2005) - A student assigned to Mobile Security Squadron Seven (MSS-7), charges forward during a "force-on-force" combat exercise using paintball equipment. MSS-7, a forward deployed unit homeported on the U.S. territory of Guam, puts new members through an 8-week Basic Skills Course, which culminates in their final exam on graduation day in which the students run though seven different scenarios.
